What happens in the first appointment?

We talk. We don’t know each other, and it takes a session or two for you to get comfortable talking to and trusting a stranger with things you are struggling with, especially if there is trauma involved.

We will talk about your treatment goals and figure out together how to reach those goals. From there, we move on at your pace.

How long does therapy take?

That is a very good question. Therapy is individualized to each person. Therapy is over when you have reached your therapeutic goals. It’s up to you to put in the work and make the most out of our sessions.

Will we focus solely on the initial goal? No, life happens, and we will switch gears as needed to address what you need at that time.

What modalities do you use?
